How Rezimo works

Your career data is never uploaded

There is no server and no backend. Your resume lives in your browser's memory and is auto-saved to localStorage on your own device. The PDF is rendered with pdf-lib running locally — your legal name, address, employment history, and salary or visa details never leave your browser. The site's Content-Security-Policy (connect-src 'self') even restricts which hosts the page may contact, so the privacy guarantee is enforced by the browser itself. That matters here: this data is genuinely sensitive.

A real selectable-text PDF — the ATS guarantee

A resume PDF an Applicant Tracking System cannot read is worthless. Rezimo draws every name, heading, date, and bullet with pdf-lib's drawTextusing embedded standard fonts, so the text in your exported PDF is selectable, copyable, and extractable — it is NEVER a rasterised image. You can prove it yourself: open the downloaded PDF, select your name, and copy it. Both templates lay content out in a logical top-to-bottom reading order so parsers extract it cleanly.

Two distinct, ATS-safe templates

Classic is a clean single-column layout (sans-serif); Compactis a denser two-column layout with a contact and skills sidebar (serif). They use different fonts, geometry, and draw order, so the two PDFs are genuinely different documents — pick whichever suits your field. Both emit real selectable text.

No WASM, no CDN, no third-party script

Unlike the audio, video, and OCR tools in this portfolio, Rezimo needs no WASM, no SharedArrayBuffer, and no cross-origin isolation — it is pure JavaScript plus pdf-lib. That makes its Content-Security-Policy one of the simplest in the portfolio: script-src 'self' with no 'wasm-unsafe-eval', no COOP/COEP headers, and connect-src 'self'as the only network allowance. pdf-lib is bundled same-origin — there is no model CDN, no ad host, and no analytics host in this MVP build.

Portable: the JSON Resume schema

Your resume is stored as an open JSON Resume document. Export it as a .jsonfile, re-import it here or in any other JSON Resume tool, and never get locked in. The import/export is a lossless round-trip, and malformed files give a friendly message instead of a crash.

No device permissions, no ads, no account

Rezimo never needs the camera, microphone, or location, and the Permissions-Policy fully disables all three. There is no signup. The default build ships with zero third-party scripts. AdSense + analytics are environment-gated and off by default. Rezimo Pro (a template library, multi-variant resumes, a cover-letter library, DOCX export, a references page, and a PDF bundle) is a one-time client-side license unlock — no backend, no payment code — and adds no network host, so the on-device privacy promise for your career data is never traded away.
